Task 2: Lighting Design - Manual Plan

This is the original hand drawn lighting design for the A2 Drama Exams.
This lighting design had a vasaad elements including two completely opposite times of day: Dusk and Dawn. I captured the deep intracacies by using subtractive colour mixing with a variation of additive colour mixing. Using a wide variety of lanters such as 1/2 ks CCT Fresnels and DTS 1ks to create a more in dpeth variation of lighting use. Space and lantern numbers became quite an issue due to the whole plan revolving around the two times of day/night. Using an effective system for the positioning of lights was key in keeping the lowest amount of lantern use down so we actually had enough space for them. The pool itself took up the cube of rig above it, meaning we had even less space; the design for that particular area was different to every other area but needed to have some resembelance. Using open white helped cover up any small patches of uncovered light to keep a realistic look over the entire stage.
